About the Performers

Fleurs du Mal

The first Gothic violinist in Hong Kong; a countertenor with soprano range. He engages in different events and organisations where he demonstrates his passion towards music. He has been the guest performer for Barclay’s Moon Trekkers for 4 consecutive years and the male soprano in the LGBT community choir "The Harmonics" for 3 seasons. He enjoys busking on the streets of Hong Kong and even Dublin. It is Fleurs' belief that classical music can be enjoyed and shared outside concert halls and palaces.

Andrei Reyes

Andrei moved to Hong Kong 2 years ago to be a part of the opening cast of a new show in Disneyland entitled “Mickey and the Wondrous Book”, which is the celebration of its 10th year anniversary. He is currently teaching music in an international school in Kowloon Tong. Trough social media, he got to know the Harmonics which is an LGBT choir - a positive voice in the community, Andrei and Fleurs du Mal belongs to the same choir. This is their first collaboration.

Theodore Ho

Theodore started singing in the school choir since high school. Around year and a half ago, Theodore joined a LGBT friendly choir, the Harmonics, through a recommendation from a friend. Out of curiosity and he joined the choir with invitation. Theodore felt safe and included and remembered how much he loved singing. He was one of the soloists for 2 seasons.

Fleurs du Mal has been a student of the violin from a young age. He was exposed to a variety of music. He started playing in his school string orchestra since the age of 8, arousing his interest towards classical music, baroque music in particular. Fleurs also sang in the school choir, where he discovered his voice as a countertenor. His school choir director offered him vocal training, He continued to explore the upper registered and was placed in soprano section. He is now soprano leader in the LGBT community choir “The Harmonics”
