My work combines my 

love for the sea, blue 

and passing through under

the boat i was on, 

In Zanzibar, is where I 

wrote these haikous, the

sea bought back memories,

came flooding in, of when

I used to live here

Tanzania has

had its ups and downs, but the 

sea is always there

Blue and full of fish

turtles, octopuses, blue 

sky above, bird sounds

Welcoming a new 

leader, a sea change, it's called

we were so hopeful

Because we see no 

end to poverty, look up!

horizons don't end.
